Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader and Member Jobs

We are hiring for lawn maintenance crew leaders and members that can perform typical lawn maintenance duties that includes mowing, edging, blowing, trimming hedges, weeding beds, picking up normal debris, installing pine straw and mulch, etc. All crew members will need to have valid driver’s license and be able to drive a truck with attached trailer. Crew leaders should also have 3 years’ experience and be able to motivate the crew, follow route and make sure lawns are maintained properly. Crew members ideally should have 1 year experience, but we do offer training.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to use lawn equipment (commercial sized mowers, blowers, edgers and trimmers)
  • Assist in daily preparation of trucks and equipment, secure all equipment properly and load any additional tools or materials needed (mixed oil, RoundUp, ladders, etc.)
  • Clean and store equipment as instructed by management
  • Maintenance of equipment (i.e.: sharpen blades and change oil in mowers, etc.)
  • Unload equipment, clean out truck & trailer by removing trash and debris daily
  • Performs other duties requested by management as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bilingual – English and Spanish (preferred, but not required)
  • Valid US (Georgia preferred) Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors during extreme hot and cold temperatures
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Completes the job in the most time-efficient manner, meeting the company productivity requirements
  • Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to edger, commercial mower, blower, chainsaw, line trimmer, etc. (preferred)
  • Lawn Maintenance Member: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader: 3+ years

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 10-12 hour shifts pending time of year
  • Overtime

Landscape Installation Crew Member

We are looking for qualified project installation members to become integral members of our established landscape installation team. Candidate should have at least one year work experience in residential (and if applicable, commercial) landscape installation. This would include installation of hardscapes, planting trees/shrubs, installing sod, irrigation, lighting, and grading, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily preparation of trucks and equipment: secure all equipment, load, and secure all plant material and hard materials required for the day, assist crew members in any preparation required for the day
  • Perform landscape installation and maintenance tasks on customer’s property
  • Planting of trees, shrubs, and flowers
  • Perform all tasks with spring operations, included but not limited to leaf and debris removal, bed edging and mulch installation
  • Bed and lawn preparation by hand or using equipment
  • Provide labor associated with the preparation, excavation and installation of paver patios, walkways and retaining walls, water gardens and landscape lighting
  • Installation of sediment control fabrics
  • Installation of lawns
  • Unload equipment, clean out truck & trailer by removing trash and debris daily
  • Assist crew members in preparation for the next day
  • Clean and store equipment as instructed by management
  • Performs other duties requested by management as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Must have reliable transportation to work
  • Bilingual – English and Spanish (preferred, but not required)
  • 1+ years’ experience in landscape construction with experience in retaining walls, patios, edging, planting, drainage, grading and sodding
  • Experience working with perennials, annuals, shrubs, evergreens, and trees: identification and cultural requirements
  • Valid US (Georgia preferred) Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors during extreme hot and cold temperatures
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Completes the job in the most time-efficient manner, meeting the company productivity requirements

Irrigation Technician

We are seeking highly professional and skilled Irrigation Technician. The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for overseeing various irrigation projects, services, and contracts for high-profile customers.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily preparation of trucks and equipment: secure all equipment, load, and secure all materials required for the day, assist crew members in any preparation required for the day
  • Understand basic pipe sizing and irrigation design
  • Inspect properties and generate reports to insure the proper service or irrigation systems
  • Install new irrigation systems from start to finish
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial / residential irrigation systems
  • Able to winterize systems
  • Unload equipment, clean out truck & trailer by removing trash and debris daily
  • Clean and store equipment as instructed by management
  • Performs other duties requested by management as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Must have reliable transportation to work
  • Valid US (Georgia preferred) Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • 2+ years of landscaping irrigation repair experience, eagerness to learn additional
  • Attention to detail with an eye for safety hazards
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to work alone as well as a team
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork is essential
  • Strong work ethic / self-starter
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work outdoors during extreme hot and cold temperatures
